Mr Wilson originally contacted us in regards to ranking his current website for a set of keywords for a golfing event around his area. After some research we had looked into his current site statistics and around 64% of his visitors where from an mobile/tablet device and his bounce rate was also around 83%.

Challenge

First we had to establish what was going to be the best option of selling this event, through pay per click or even organically. Because of the site structure the only option available was PPC. And we knew that even though PPC would attract visitors the site design its self would send them straight back away.

Solution

Instead of spending the money on PPC we thought it would be must more effective to have a brand new site built that is actually viewable on a mobile device. We have also used his own booking system that has led to cutting down a huge amount of commission.

Results

We’ve achieved a Click Through Rate (CTR) of 43.75%, which generated a number of new bookings. We have also noticed the bounce rate has now dropped from 83% down to 13%.
